Annotations

The area of the battlefields of the Battles of Cynocsphalae (Kynoskephalai) in 364 BC and 197 BC, according to Nicholas Hammond. Hammond argued that the historical battles were fought in the hills west of ancient Skotoussa, north of modern Zoodokhos Pege and south of Kremaste.
