Shahr-i Barbar (BALL-1039) - ancient Ribat-e Karvan ? (7 km)
Turk and/or Ghurid fortified town on an escarpment. Consists mainly of a curtain wall and various remains inside its perimeter. Fieldwork by Lee (2002). Possible identification with medieval town of Ribat-e Karvan.
